FAQ
How is my test grade calculated?
Your test grade is calculated by dividing the number of correct answers by the total number of questions, then multiplying by 100 to get a percentage. This percentage is then converted to a letter grade using a standard grading scale.
What is the standard grading scale?
The standard grading scale is: A (90-100%), B (80-89%), C (70-79%), D (60-69%), and F (below 60%). Plus and minus grades are assigned for scores near the boundaries (e.g., A- for 90-92.99%).
How many questions can I miss and still get an A?
To get an A (90% or higher), you can miss up to 10% of the questions. For example, on a 100-question test, you can miss up to 10 questions. On a 50-question test, you can miss up to 5 questions.
What GPA points correspond to each letter grade?
On a 4.0 scale: A/A+ = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, D- = 0.7, F = 0.0.
