FAQ
How is my test grade calculated?
Your grade is calculated by dividing correct answers by total questions and multiplying by 100. That percentage is then converted to a letter grade using a standard grading scale.
What is the standard grading scale?
A common scale is A for 90-100%, B for 80-89%, C for 70-79%, D for 60-69%, and F below 60%. Many schools also use plus and minus grades near the cutoffs.
How many questions can I miss and still get an A?
To earn an A at 90% or above, you can miss up to 10% of the questions. On a 100-question test that means up to 10 missed questions.
What GPA points match each letter grade?
On a 4.0 scale, A and A+ equal 4.0, A- is 3.7, B+ is 3.3, B is 3.0, B- is 2.7, C+ is 2.3, C is 2.0, C- is 1.7, D+ is 1.3, D is 1.0, D- is 0.7, and F is 0.0.
