Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Learnly AI platform (website, apps, services). By using the Platform, you accept these Terms. We may update the Terms; material changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use means acceptance.

Platform: Learnly AI website, mobile apps, and services. Account: Your registered profile. User Content: Study materials, notes, comments, questions you post/upload. AI Services: AI chat, note generation, flashcards, quizzes, document analysis.

Learnly AI offers various subscription plans that provide access to premium features. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Monthly subscriptions renew every month on the same date, and yearly subscriptions renew every year on the same date.

You will be charged the then-current subscription fee, and we will send you a reminder email 3 days before renewal. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

You will retain access to paid features until the period ends. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, and no cancellation fees apply. We accept payments through Stripe, which supports credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods.

Your payment information is processed securely by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old if you are in the European Economic Area) to use this Platform. If you are under 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.

Account creation requires name, email, password, university, field of study. Keep credentials secure; you are responsible for all account activity. You must provide truthful information and keep it updated.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, and create derivatives of your content for platform operation, improvement, and marketing. This license survives account termination. You are solely responsible for your User Content.

The Platform (design, software, features, content) is owned by Learnly AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other IP laws. You have a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Platform for educational purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Platform.

AI-generated content is algorithmic and may not be accurate or complete. Always verify AI responses, especially for exams or critical decisions. Excessive use may result in rate limiting or account suspension. Your AI interactions may be used to improve our models. Opt out at [email protected].

We use third-party services to provide and improve our Platform, including but not limited to: AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) for AI-powered features, Stripe for payment processing, cloud infrastructure providers for data storage and hosting, and analytics services for platform improvement.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

Use the Platform to generate study guides, flashcards, organize materials, and ask clarifying questions for personal learning.

Do NOT input exam questions to get answers during tests, submit AI-generated content as your own work, use AI to complete graded assignments (unless instructor permits), or violate your institution's academic integrity policies.

You agree NOT to: Violate laws or third-party rights, upload illegal or harmful content, bypass security measures, introduce malware, resell Platform access, impersonate others, infringe copyrights, or post inappropriate content.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD. This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/injury.

You can delete your Account anytime via Account Settings or email [email protected]. We may suspend/terminate accounts for Terms violations, suspected fraud, or inactivity. Upon termination, access ceases immediately.

Contact [email protected] before formal proceedings. English law applies. Both parties agree to first attempt friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration. Claims must be filed within 1 year.
